Applying for a Position

We handle all of our applications online at www.wawa.com for both store and corporate opportunities. Click here to start your search. The site will guide you through our step-by-step application process.

Once you apply, you will receive a confirmation email and your application is visible to our Talent Acquisition Team. From there, they will review applications for open positions that we have. We take steps to value every applicant who applies, but unfortunately due to the volume of applications we receive, we cannot call everyone. Store management applications remain active in the system for 90 days, at which point you can re-apply.

Once you apply, you will receive a confirmation email and your application is visible to the management team at the specific store you applied to. Our team reviews applications on an as-needed basis. After 5 days, your application also becomes available to neighboring stores within a 10 mile radius of the address you provided. This gives your application more opportunity to get noticed by our team, especially when we have many Wawa stores in one area.

You can find information about our new stores in two locations:

  1. On our store opportunities page, we provide a list of our future stores and a timeline of when we will begin accepting applications for each.
  2. Our “grand openings” page contains a list of stores that are actively seeking associates to help open a new location.

Issues with my Application

You can easily retrieve your username and/or password online by clicking on the “Forgot Username or Password?” link. Click here to be taken to that page.

You can make certain modifications to your application, such as personal information, availability, work history and education history. If your application was disqualified by our pre-employment qualifying questions and you wish to reset your application, please contact our call center.

For store opportunities, you can only apply to one management position while your application remains active. You may, however, apply for both a Customer Service Associate and Management position at the same time. For corporate opportunities, you can apply for more than one opening at a time.

You can only apply for one position in one area for an active application. After 5 days a CSA < FA < NS application also becomes available to neighboring stores within a 10-mile radius of the address you provided. This gives your application more opportunity to get noticed by our team, especially when we have many Wawa stores in one area.

 

Do Your Homework

  • Read our job descriptions thoroughly.
  • Understand the pay scale for the position in which you are applying.
  • Know our hours of operation and what is expected of an hourly or management associate.
  • Be ready to share your journey and why you are exploring a career with Wawa.
  • Familiarize yourself with common behavioral-based questions (as those questions allow our recruiters to understand how you would handle competencies relevant to the role in which you are applying).
  • If you are applying for a management role, highlight your leadership appropriately.
