Wawa Charities Program

Wawa Charities Program

The Wawa Charities Program is comprised of Associate contributions and corporate funds. The Wawa Charities Committee meets semi-annually, in February and July, to distribute grants to causes and organizations within the communities and neighborhoods where we live and work. Funds are equally divided throughout our market area.

The goal of the Wawa Charities Program is to positively impact our communities by supporting programs and organizations that address issues our associates feel are most important. Each year, we survey our associates to determine how the funds should be distributed.

Currently, the Wawa Charities Program supports the following issues:

  • AIDS Research
  • Cancer Research
  • Childrens' Health
  • Domestic/Sexual Violence
  • Heart Disease
  • Hunger

How to Participate

If you are an eligible 501c(3) non-profit organization representing one of the issues listed above and would like to apply for a grant from the Wawa Charities Fund, please review our Grant Application Guidelines.

Before submitting a request for a contribution, please review the areas above to understand the types of organizations Wawa supports. Please note that your organization must be a verifiable, tax-exempt organization to be considered for potential funding.
