Wawa Charities Program
The Wawa Charities Program is comprised of corporate funds and Associate contributions. The Wawa Charities Committee meets to distribute grants to causes and organizations within the communities and neighborhoods where we live and work. Funds are equally divided throughout our market area. Our committee meets twice a year for review. The first session is held in May and requests must be submitted by April 15th to be eligible for review during the spring session. The second session is held in the fall, and requests must be submitted October 15th.
Currently, the Wawa Charities Program supports the following issues:
- AIDS Research
- Cancer Research
- Childrens' Health
- Domestic/Sexual Violence
- Heart Disease
- Hunger
How to Participate
If you are an eligible 501c(3) non-profit organization representing one of the issues listed above and would like to apply for a grant from the Wawa Charities Fund, please review our Grant Application Guidelines.pdf.
Before submitting a request for a contribution, please review the areas above to understand the types of organizations Wawa supports. Please note that your organization must be a verifiable, tax-exempt organization to be considered for potential funding.
