Our Training Process
Wawa is a company with strong values that focus on people and culture. In keeping with these values Wawa offers specific training courses for each Store Operation's position, along with continuing educational programs. This catalog consists of the programs that Wawa offers both internally and externally. Our courses are designed for both on-the-job training and classroom development. Either way the goal remains the same: To meet the dynamic training and educational needs of those who work for Wawa. The following pages list the basic requirements and ongoing development for each position. Courses are broken out by three major categories:
Brand Fundamentals
Entry-level skill training in business tasks, living the values, and delivering the offer.
Leadership Development
Management development in building a high performing team by living the culture, teaching and demonstrating the values, embracing the core purpose and strategic goals.
Career Enhancement
Opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment through formal educational programs and job assignments to strengthen career potential and achieve business goals.
Wawa offers core training programs. Most of the job positions in Store Operations will fall into one or more of the four categories listed above.
