How do I use the Wawa Gift Card?

The Wawa Gift Card is simple to use. You can use it for purchases at any Wawa location. The Wawa Gift Card works just like a debit card. Upon swiping at the register or at the pump, it deducts the amount from the card. Instructions for use are on the back of the card.

To Pay for Fuel: Insert and remove card. Press "Credit" button at pump. Fuel desired amount up to card balance displayed on screen. Obtain receipt with card balance.

To Pay for Merchandise: After a store associate scans your merchandise, swipe your card at the PIN pad and tell the associate you are using a gift card. The associate will provide a receipt with the remaining card balance.

What happens when all the card value is used? Should I throw the card away, or can I add more value?

As long as there are funds on the card it can be used as often as you like. Once you run out of funds you may recharge the Wawa Gift Card at any time for any denomination from $5 to $250 by simply taking it to the register at any Wawa store.

You can also reload your Wawa Gift Card online on Wawa.com in two ways: with a one-time transaction, or by setting your Wawa Gift Card to reload automatically when the balance falls below an amount you designate, or on a schedule you set. Amount-based reloads occur the day after your Wawa Gift Card balance dips to or below the minimum balance you specify. For example, if you chose $10 as your minimum balance, and your balance drops to or below that amount on a Monday, your card will be reloaded the following Tuesday by end of day.

When a card is at a zero balance for longer than 60 days, the card will become inactive and deposits can no longer be made to the card. If you're interested in a new card, you may purchase one for a minimum of $5 at any Wawa store.
